Setting up MFA

Enable Multi-Factor Authentication

CloudXper allows you to view sensitive information such as customer user and cost information.
For more secure service use, you must use MFA (Multi-factor authentication) login using the Google OTP application.
Please refer to the guide below for instructions on how to set up MFA. If you have any difficulties with setup, please contact your CloudXper representative by email.

 

  1. Install the Google OTP (Google Authenticatior) application on your mobile phone
    1.1) Android (Playstore) - Search for Google Authenticator and install it.
    1.2) iPhone (App Store) - Search for Google Authenticator and install it.

  2. Check MFA information in the CloudXper portal
    2.1) After logging into the CloudXper portal, click on the top right corner [username] click
    2.2) [MFA authentication settings] click

    2.3) After re-entering the password [confirm] click

    2.4) [use] Click the button to enter the detailed MFA settings screen

    2.5) Check the QR barcode or random code

    2.6) After running the Google OTP application installed on your mobile phone, [+ Button]Click to register your CloudXper account by entering the QR barcode or random number code above.



    2.7) If a 6-digit random number OTP number is displayed as shown below, MFA registration was successful.



  3. When you reconnect to CloudXper and enter your ID/PW, you will see the following: '2-step authentication' Go to the page and log in by entering the 6-digit random code from CloudXper that appears in Google Authenticator.
