Handling unnecessary diagnostic items exceptions
AI Diagnostic Optimization provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic items provided by each CSP in addition to the capabilities provided by CloudXper itself.
Therefore, depending on the customer's environment, there may be items for which no action is required.
You can use the "Apply Exceptions" feature to prevent your overall diagnostic score from being deducted for items that require no action.
Step 01. Handling exceptions
To the right of the item that requires action You can use the buttons to apply exceptions to specific items.
You can apply exceptions by selecting the account to which you want to apply the exception through the "Select Account" field.
You can also apply exceptions by directly selecting resources when you expand the items.
Step 02. Cancel the exception
The same applies when canceling an exception. You can cancel an exception using the button. (The “Cancel Exception” is activated for the excluded items.)
Select Account to view accounts that have been excluded from the current item, and optionally cancel the exception.
And exceptions applied by directly selecting a resource can only be canceled by directly selecting the resource again.
Step 03. Check for exceptions
Exception conditions "with exceptions"By selecting , you can search including the excluded items.
Resources that are exception-handled are shown in gray, and the reason for the exception can be found in the Exception column.
Step 04. Write a note
If there are any special circumstances regarding the resource being addressed, you can leave a record using the “Leave a Note” function.
You can write a note by selecting the Leave a Note button.
