AI Optimization Diagnosis provides category-specific scores across approximately 750 diagnostic items for the following five categories:

  1. Cost optimization

  2. reliability

  3. Operational efficiency

  4. Performance

  5. security

 

Here's what each item means:

 

Cost optimization

→ This is an indicator for efficiently managing cloud costs and reducing unnecessary spending.

reliability

→ This is an indicator that evaluates the availability and stability of services and systems.

Operational efficiency

→ This is an indicator for improving the efficiency of operation and management.

Performance

→ This is an indicator that measures the system's response speed and processing capability.

security

→ This is an indicator that ensures the safety of the system and data.

 

The dashboard provides comprehensive diagnostic results for each category in the form of a pentagon.

We also provide diagnostic results for each category, tallying the number of completed/required/important/recommended items for each diagnostic item.

This allows you to see at a glance the vulnerabilities in the cloud accounts you operate.

 

Step 01. Check your overall score

In the "Comprehensive Diagnosis Results" section on the first screen, you can check the comprehensive diagnosis results for each category as a score.

You can also check the score for each category and the number of detected cases by importance.

 

Step 02. Check the details of a specific category.

Also, please note that the current screen has been converted to a cost optimization-themed screen, so only "Cost Optimization" is currently selected among the categories.

 

The current screen shows information related to cost optimization classification.

  1. Diagnostic items (including importance and status - Critical / Important / Recommended / Completed)

  2. Cost savings by item

  3. Sortable (Importance / Penalty / Opportunity Cost)

 

Points calculation method

  • The deduction score for each item is calculated by comprehensively considering the importance of the diagnostic item and the number of diagnostic items.

  • Since the deduction score is calculated based on the overall score for the five assessment areas, to convert the deduction level for an individual item into a score for each assessment area, the deduction score must be multiplied by 5.

  • example

    • In the example above, if the score for the 'Cost Optimization' area is calculated as 74.1 points, and a deduction of -0.50 points occurs for the item "Existence of resources not applied to AWS Power Schedule", this means that -0.50 points are deducted from the overall total score.

    • However, if this deduction applies only to the 'cost optimization' area, it should be understood that -0.50 × 5 = -2.5 points were deducted when converted to the area score.

If you select the "Unused Volume" item from the list, which will save you $18.25 per month when you take action, you will see the following information:

Resource Mapping Table for Action Items

  1. Resource identification information ( AccountNo , Region , Volume ID ... )

  2. Monthly savings when taking action on an item ( Savings )

 

Through Steps 1 and 2, we identified potential monthly cost savings through optimization, action items, and corresponding resource information.

Step 04. Check performance after action

After taking action, you can check the performance of the items taken action by going to the “Optimization Diagnosis Details → Performance Inquiry” tab.

Please note that this item is updated daily at 09:00 by tallying the items that have been addressed.
