Cost Analysis
The four functions of cost analysis, period cost analysis, cost increase/decrease status, and resource cost inquiry have been integrated into the 'Cost Analysis' menu to enable integrated cost inquiry.
When cost information is updated, the “Cost Report” screen is updated first, and the “Cost Analysis” screen is also updated sequentially within approximately 2 hours.
If there is an account transfer within a new company or service, the renewal time may take up to 1 day.
1. Move the screen
From the menu, navigate to “Cost Analysis” > “Cost Analysis” menu.
2. Search conditions
Search conditions
CSP, Company, Service, Account can be selected based on the account selected in "Account Selection" at the top right of the screen. If the desired condition is not there, please check "Account Selection".
CSP, Company, Service, and Account are hierarchical. You can only select child conditions that are included in the parent selection conditions.
period
Inquiry Period: Enter the period for which you want to inquire costs.
Comparison criteria period: Enter the period to be compared with the set search period. When searching for the 'comparison criteria period', data from both periods will be output together in the search results.
Default value: “Inquiry period” is the latest 1 month, the “Comparison period” is not selected.
If you click the “Comparison period”, the default “Inquiry period” is the latest 1 week, and “Comparison period” is shown with “D-14 ~ D-7” as default.
In the “Inquiry period”, you can choose quickly period among 3 preset values: “Last 7 days”, “Last 15 days”, “Last 30 days”
In the “Comparison period”, the period selected in the “Inquiry period” is marked as greyscale.
CSP: Select CPS among AWS/AZURE/GCP/kakaocloud.
company
Select the company for which you want to inquire about costs. The companies that can be selected are those that meet the inquiry condition "CSP" among the accounts checked in "Account Selection" at the top right of the screen.
If you select one company, you can select the sub-condition "Service", and if you select two or more, the selection of "Service" and "Account" is limited.
Service: Select the services that are included in the upper selection criteria. If you select more than one, account selection will be limited.
Account: Select the account that is included in the upper selection criteria.
View More Filter Options: Supports detailed cost inquiry by adding "Product" and "Region" as filter conditions.

3. Query results chart (bar chart)
Search Results Chart
Results outside the top 10 in the chart results are combined and displayed as "Others".
X-axis: Choose to view by Day or Month.
Y-axis: Select a search group such as Company, Service, Account, or Product. The provision conditions are different for each CSP.
Quick Settings: Quickly select Y-axis query conditions.
Excluding monthly fixed costs: You can view usage-based cost data excluding AWS's fixed costs.
Total Comparison: Activated when the "Comparison Criteria Period" is searched, this displays the total Y-axis costs incurred during the period.
Filter: You can select and display only some properties from the search results, and when unchecked, the entire result value is displayed. Applies to search result charts and tables.
Expanded Hierachy: You can retrieve data in a drilldown format at Query results table according to the level you want to view(only supporting for Barchart, not supporting for Comparison Period search).
4. Query results chart (Sankey chart)

Results other than the top 10 in the chart results are combined and displayed as "Others (Dimension name)".
You can select up to four items from the Dimension list to check the cost trend of the selected account and period, organized in the order of the selected Dimensions.
Number of Displayed Items: You can select the number of items to display in the Sankey chart. Items exceeding the selected number will be grouped and displayed as "Others." Up to 20 items can be selected.
Zoom In: You can enlarge the Sankey chart to view it in full screen.
Note: If you click “Comparison Period”, you can just only view Bar chart, can not view Sankey chart
5. Query results table (bar chart)
Columns, Filters, Export
Columns: You can select the columns to display in the table.
Filters: You can select which rows to display in the table.
Export: You can download the results of the table to Excel.
Quick Search: You can quickly search rows by entering conditions.
Account, Product, Region, Usage Type is displayed depending on the value you select in the Quick Setting.

Export: You can download the results of the table to Excel.
Quick Search: You can quickly search rows by entering conditions.
Button shows the query results in the corresponding hierarchical structure level selected in the Dimensions. There are maximum 4 display level.
The query results are displayed in a hierarchical structure, showing the costs by selected Dimensions. However, hierarchical structure level will be clear if you click on the drill down button.
