Create Microsoft Teams Workflow Webhook
This page guides you through creating a webhook to receive cost notifications from CloudXper in your Microsoft Teams app.
Add Workflow App
Run Teams app: Open Microsoft Teams
Select channel: Move to a specific team channel in which you want to set Webhook
Select the Workflow option: Click the “More” button next to the channel name, and click the “Workflow”
Receive Webhook requests, then create channel workflow
Select template: In the Workflow, select “Post to a channel when a webhook request is received”
Name your workflow: Name your workflow so that it is easy for other users to understand.
Check the channel: Make sure the correct team and channel are selected to receive notifications. Add a workflow: Click the Add Workflow button to create it.
Check and use Webhook URL
Copy Webhook URL: Once creation is complete, you will be provided with a unique webhook URL. Copy this URL.
Check the webhook URL: Click Workflows in the Teams internal app to access it, select the created Workflow, and click the Edit button to check the webhook URL.
Verify Adaptive card: Verify that the generated webhook URL is set to be sent to the Adaptive card.
External Service Integration: You can send notifications to the corresponding channel by entering the copied webhook URL into the CloudXper cost notification creation window.
