Inventory Change Management
Inventory change management (integrated inventory history inquiry)
It collects the status at the time of change of cloud resources, provides change comparison, and change tracking/management functions.
Easy to track arbitrary tasks
It is easy to trace the cause when a failure occurs due to a change in resources.
It is easy to trace the cause of cost increase when cost increases.
Easy to view resources created, modified, or deleted within a period
By registering change events as change history during operational work, it is easy to track what changes were made at the time of change work.
1. Change Management
1-1 Change Event
Change Event: This refers to the state of a resource at the time it is created/deleted, or the state of a resource at the time when the property managed by CloudXper is changed.
Property to store change events when CloudXper changes
1-2 Change History
Change History: This is a feature that manages change events in a group, meaning that it is a feature that allows the person in charge of the change to track and manage "why" the change was made.
1-3 Notes
If change events are not collected among AWS EC2 Instance resources - If creation and deletion occur as needed through a short life cycle, operation through change events is not easy, so they are not collected.
If the AWS EC2 Instance resource contains a specific tag key
Auto scaling tag key: aws:autoscaling:
EMR tag key: aws:elasticmapreuce:instance-group-role
Instance with AWS EC2 Spot Lifecycle

Resource list query screen (Inventory Dashboard → EC2/RDS Instance Search)
Event: You can select new/modified/deleted resources within a week (Deleted resources are shown even if they were deleted more than a week ago)
The default selection is No Change/New/Modify
Resources requiring verification: You can select resources that have been new/modified/deleted within a week but for which the person in charge has not registered the change history.Deleted resources are shown even if they were deleted more than a week ago)
The default selection is unchecked
Collection Time: The time when a change to a resource occurs and CloudXper discovers and collects the change.
It is not a criterion for collecting change events (see 1-1. Change Events)., Any change in any of the resource's properties occurs. If so, the time will be updated.
